The Australia Day manuscript is finished (all 130,560 words of it), the cover art work is done but I really want to bring to you the reader a polished action thriller novel so I need to engage the services of a professional proofreader & editor. So that’s where most of the dough will go – about $2,500 to cover the cost for a professional editor and the balance is to cover the digital printing and mail out of 400 paperback copies of Australia Day.
If you pledge $15, you’ll get a personally signed and numbered copy of Australia Day mailed to you anywhere in Australia plus I’ll personally thank you in the Acknowledgment page.
Please click here if you would like to help me out with my book project.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Australia Day Back Page Teaser
As Australian’s prepare for their annual Australia Day celebrations, Sentinel Intelligence discovers that a major terrorist attack on Sydney Harbour is imminent.
With a limited window of opportunity, Sentinel operative Jonas Blackthorne leads a black-ops commando cross border raid on a Jemaah Islamiah stronghold in a remote Indonesian village – where he uncovers detailed plans of a dirty bomb strike targeting some of Sydney’s most iconic landmarks.
With the bomb components intercepted, and the key players seemingly arrested, Australia’s political elite claim that a major terrorist attack has been successfully averted.
Blackthorne, however, remains unconvinced that the intercepted bomb is an isolated incident, believing that it is only one element in a highly orchestrated and multi-faceted attack.
Armed with minimal intelligence and with precious little time, Blackthorne embarks on an audacious plan to locate the mastermind behind the attack in an attempt to neutralise the biggest terror threat Australia has ever faced.
