A missed opportunity

The Gillard gov’t should have bought the HMS Ark Royal for $4.5m AUD & used it to house illegal immigrants.

In its day HMS Ark Royal carried 22 aircraft and a crew of 1,051 so it has plenty of space, especially with a few of these privacy pop bed tents on the air deck and a few of these Sleeping pots in the old crew quarters. With a popper fit out, I think you could comfortably hold 3,000 free loaders if not more.

Just anchor it off Christmas Island and let it also be a visual warning to those who choose to illegally come to Australia via a boat from Indonesia what their fate will be.

But sadly, this golden opportunity has slipped by. But for $550,000 US, why not buy these old “Whiskey Class” Submarines. Problem out of sight out of mind.

Labor’s Illegal Armada Update: Month of May on track to beat April’s record arrivals

This time last month, 2,109 illegal immigrants had arrived. So far this month 2,107 illegal immigrants have arrived.

Meanwhile, there are 105,000 Australians trapped in the cycle of homelessness says National chief executive of the St Vincent de Paul Society Dr John Falzon.

So the illegals get 3 hots and a cot, and yet the homelessness would be lucky to get 1 hot let alone a cot each night.

$8.1 billion is budgeted on intercepting these illegal immigrants over the next 4 years – imagine if that same amount of money was spent fighting the causes and care of the homeless then we’d mostly likely wouldn't have a homelessness problem.

I also understand that after the illegals spend around 6-9 months in detention, they manage to save approximately $10 000 in "welfare payments" from the Australian Government. They then send the money home and arrange for the next family member to come here on a boat.

This means we are actually paying for the continuous flood of illegal boat people via the welfare payments provided to them.

Well done, Labor.

If Labour UK admits its mass immigration policy was entirely deliberate then surely Labor’s boat people policy is just as deliberate

Labour sent out ‘search parties’ for immigrants to get them to come to the UK, Lord Mandelson has admitted.

In a stunning confirmation that the Blair and Brown governments deliberately engineered mass immigration, the former Cabinet Minister and spin doctor said New Labour sought out foreign workers

Between 1997 and 2010, net migration to Britain totalled more than 2.2million, more than twice the population of Birmingham.

The annual net figure quadrupled under Labour from 48,000 people in 1997 to 198,000 by 2009.

Lord Mandelson’s remarks come three years after Labour officials denied claims by former adviser Andrew Neather that they deliberately encouraged immigration in order to change the make-up of Britain.

Mr Neather said the policy was designed to ‘rub the Right’s nose in diversity’.

He said there was ‘a driving political purpose: that mass immigration was the way that the Government was going to make the UK truly multicultural’.

So it therefore entirely reasonable to believe Labor has a driving political agenda to purposely fail to police our borders so as to ‘rub the Right’s nose in diversity’ by allowing tens of thousands of undocumented illegal immigrants to invade our shores.

Labor’s Illegal Armada Update: Illegal Immigrant budget blows out by more than $3.2 billion

The asylum seeker budget has blown out by more than $3.2billion since the government's February forecast, as Immigration Minister Brendan O'Connor admitted the record rate of boat arrivals ''is not acceptable in terms of the risks to human life, or the impact of the budget''.

On top of the $3.2billion extra required to intercept and detain asylum seekers arriving by boat – as well as caring for those in the community – the government will channel an extra $943million in foreign aid money to supporting asylum seekers over four years.

Labor’s Illegal Armada Update: On track to smash 2012 arrival figure

So what figure classifies as an invasion?

Unless the coalition gets really tough, I really can’t see how they will stop the boats. What’s their big stick to stop them when Scott Morrison won’t consider withdrawing from the out-dated UNHCR process?

Compare below the 2013 chart with the 2012 chart. Note the massive spike in numbers for 2013. If you use the average arrival figures of Mar13 & APR13 of 2,818 for the next eight months + include the actual Jan – Apr arrivals we’re looking at an approx. 2013 arrival figure of 30,000 illegals. That’s more than the seating capacity of Skilled Park Stadium on the Gold Coast.

If you use $180,000 per illegal to process, house, feed, etc we’re looking at an annual cost of approx. $5.4 billion.

Note also, the people smugglers are making sure the boat crews ring ahead for assistance.

It is an absolute disgrace that the Gillard Federal Gov’t has completely given up on policing our borders. Heaven help us if an actual occupying force decided to invade Western and Northern Australia. We’d have no way to repel the invaders.

Scott Morrison and Tony Abbott need to pull their heads out and tear up the agreement with the UNHCR and start putting a policy that’s in Australia’s interests and not the UN’s.

The solution to stop the boats starts with Australia withdrawing from the UNHCR. The rest of the process is really quite easy to implement.

Labor’s Illegal Armada Update: April Illegals greater than any month from last year

No wonder the gov’t is running budget deficits…

It’s not even the end of April 13 and yet we have had more illegal immigrants than what arrived in 2010 – the second biggest year of arrivals.

Thanks to Labor - we’re on track to blow out of the water last year’s record of 16,697 illegal arrivals.

Labor’s Illegal Armada Update: 94 boats with 5,957 illegals have arrived in 113 days

Tony Abbott is right to call them Illegal immigrants. I sincerely hope he doesn’t fold to the vocal soft on illegal immigration minority.

Just have a look how many are flooding in thanks to Gillard & Co who are completely derelict in their duty to protect Australia’s borders.

It’s costing you, the Australian taxpayer billions and worse, they’re still coming.

Since Labor has been in Gov’t, over 36,616 illegal immigrants have arrived on 629 boats.

They all get 3 hots and a cot, health checks and when they are then finally released into our community, they get ongoing funding support. But there is worse to come, each of these 36,616 illegals then uses the family reunion loop-hole and brings in their spouse(s), children and other family members. The actual amount of people coming into Australia via this illegal racket is closer to 180,000 people since Labor has been in gov’t.

Labor’s Illegal Armada Update: March13 arrivals greater than any monthly arrival in 2012

Labor long ago hoisted up the white flag and now the illegals are just flooding in.

The data also seems to indicate a significant increase in illegal boats requiring our assistance or our naval taxi service.

But this chart best represents the absolute dismal failure of Labor's border protection.

The view from Geraldton, WA

Undetected illegal entries…look how porous our borders have become under Labor.

A GROUP of 66 people on board a boat that sailed into Geraldton, 400 kilometres north of Perth, today are now destined for Christmas Island, according to statement from the immigration department.

It is believed to be the first boat to reach the mainland so close to Perth.

Barely 430km north of Perth, the coastal centre is more than 2000km south of Christmas Island where asylum seekers coming to Australia are usually intercepted.

The Gillard gov’t is derelict in its duty to safe guard our borders. This alone is reason to boot these bastard’s out of office on Sept 14.

Just substitute actor Brad Pitt with a people smuggler…same message to the illegals…”Do you know what's waiting beyond that beach? Welfare! Take it! It's yours!”

 

In the stockbroking game we have a saying, “the first cut is the best cut,” and this is exactly what the gov’t needs to do – make the first cut by immediately withdrawing Australia from the UNHCR and implement a policy that is in our interests and not the UN’s. This will stop all legal challenges/appeals and allow the gov’t of the day to apply whatever steps are necessary to stop this criminal activity.

It’s fairly obvious the boat that landed into Geraldton had help – there is no way it came direct from Sri Lanka – criminal syndicates are towing empty vessels and off-loading their “clients” onto fresh boats to make the trip now direct to Australia.

Australia can’t afford to pussy foot around – and the first step is to withdraw from the UNHCR handcuff otherwise we’ll never be able to stop the flow.

Labor’s Illegal Armada Update: record monthly arrivals in March 2013 of 2,452

This ain’t a trickle…it’s a flood.

Keep in mind that each boat on average cost’s us the tax payer $12.8m and we’ve had 73 turn up this year alone – that’s a cool $934.4m

Just think of what else that money could be spent on…NDIS or MRI gear for hospitals…

And there are soft Charlies who want to throw out the welcome mat to these freeloaders…
