Meanwhile, the global temperature dataset compiled by the Met Office and the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit has been updated.
So much for the computer models suggesting impending catastrophic climate change doom – the chart above clearly shows large growth in atmospheric CO2 yet the 15 year temperature trend remains stable (if not decling).
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) professor Richard Lindzen, a renowned global warming sceptic, told about 70 Sandia researchers in June that too much is being made of climate change by researchers seeking government funding. He said their data and their methods did not support their claims.
Clearly the ecotard computer boffins have overstated the sensitivity of higher atmospheric CO2 – or in other words, our planet's climate is not as sensitive to CO2 as the ecotards thought.
