The video below illustrates the performance of Russian built Sukhoi Su-30MK2 jet fighter.
The red smoke coming from the wingtips is only there to demonstrate to spectators on the ground the direction the plane is actually moving through the air. Normally the smoke wouldn't be there.
When the smoke is streaming behind, the fighter is moving forward etc. When the fighter is engulfed in smoke, it means the airplane is almost stopped in mid-air. The manoeuvrability of this fighter is incredible. This fighter would be nearly impossible to defeat in a dogfight.
And Indonesia in January signed a $470 million contract with Russia to buy six Sukhoi Su-30MK2 jet fighters.
So why are we giving Indonesia aid???
