Under Gillard’s insane Carbon Tax, the Gold Coast City Council (aka ratepayers) would be slugged $4 million. Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate has publically stated that as Mayor, he will NOT PAY THE CARBON TAX.
Kudos to Tom. I just wish there were more people in public office that had a spine like Tom does.
